In summary -based reporting, offenses are placed into a small group of categories known as Index Crimes. Further, reported offenses are limited to one crime per incident. This means that in each incident with more than one offense, only the most egregious offense is counted and the others are not. The method of crime data collection is changing nationwide. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has stopped collecting summary-based data following the 2020 collection cycle. Florida is transitioning to the new requirement, incident-based data. While local agencies are making this transition, Florida will collect and report data in each format until the transition is complete.During this transition, some agencies will report summary data, some incident data, while others will not be able to report until their transition is complete. For more information about the new incident-based collection, please visit our Incident-Based Reports page. 2021 Annual Summary Uniform Crime Reports Crime in Florida Report Abstract PDF Arrest Totals by Age and Sex Report PDF Statewide County Report PDF | Excel Arrest Totals Comparative Report PDF County and Municipal Offense Report PDF | Excel County and Municipal Arrest Report PDF | Excel Judicial Circuit Offense Report PDF | Excel Judicial Circuit Arrest Report PDF | Excel Previously released Summary Annual Florida Uniform Crime Reports are available from 2000 - 2020.
