FloridaScore is starting with appellate opinions because they are the cleanest primary-source backbone for a Florida legal news site. The opinion feed is designed to keep court, date, docket, source links, practice tags, and editorial summaries together.
The goal is not to replace official court sources. The goal is to make Florida legal updates easier to scan, search, cite-check, and route to the lawyers and readers who need them.
Every summary page should preserve a direct path back to the official court source and make clear when text is an editorial summary rather than the opinion itself.
